TEMPORARY PRODUCTION OPERATIVE - FABRICATION (3 MONTHS)
 
A vacancy exists for a Temporary Production Operative to join a busy, friendly team within our Fabrication Department.  This will be for a period of approximately 3 months.  

Primary responsibilties:

  • Cut materials using the CNC guillotine machine working with mild and stainless steel between 0.7 and 5mm thickness.
  • The ability to use a metal cutting band saw and notching machines.
  • Knocking out and deburring using notches and linishing belts.

 

Key skills and qualifications:

Candidates should have previous experience of operating a guillotine machine and have the ability to mark out and measure to close tolerances.  They should also be capable of working on their own initiative and as part of a team. Experience of MIG welding would be preferred.

  • Hourly Rate dependent on experience and qualifications. 
  • 37.50 Hours per week, Mon-Thurs 8.00 – 4.45 pm, Friday 8.00 - 12.30 pm (Early finish on a Friday).
