Sales Manager - QATM

Doing what is fun
- Develop and execute sales strategies for materials testing equipment, focusing on hardness testers and materialographic preparation systems
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers in research institutions, industrial laboratories, and quality control departments
- Prepare and present technical proposals, demonstrations, and product presentations
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets for the assigned territory in India
- Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to penetrate new segments.
- Guide customers in selecting appropriate testing solutions based on their specific requirements
- Support customers with application-specific solutions in metallography and materials testing
- Collaborate with global technical teams for complex customer requirements.
- Generate and qualify new sales leads through networking and industry events
- Coordinate with service teams to ensure customer satisfaction and support
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports in CRM system.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Materials Science, Metallurgical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in technical sales, specifically in materials testing equipment or related instrumentation
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets in the Indian market
- Strong understanding of metallography, including sample preparation techniques and analysis methods
- Knowledge of various hardness testing methods and equipment (Rockwell, Brinell, Vickers)
- Familiarity with materials characterization techniques and equipment
- Understanding of quality control processes and industrial testing requirements
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- Strong technical problem-solving abilities
- Effective presentation and communication skills
- Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office suite
- Ability to travel extensively within assigned territory
- Fluency in English and relevant regional languages
