We are a dedicated and motivated team of 62 people, located in HYDERABAD, and represent the six brands of our group in the domestic market, providing laboratories with innovative, precise and efficient solutions: Retsch is our specialist in laboratory mills and sieving equipment. Microtrac develops leading solutions for particle characterization. Carbolite supplies high-performance laboratory ovens. Eltra enables precise elemental analysis. QATM takes care of metallographic sample preparation and hardness testing and ERWEKA is our producer of pharmaceutical testing devices.. Verder Scientific operates 13 production sites and eleven sales companies worldwide and are part of the German-Dutch technology group Verder, a group of companies with over 2000 employees around the globe.  

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key advisor for management on financial aspects, including financial analysis, reporting, and control, in line with international accounting standards. 
  • Develop and implement an integrated strategy for finance, including sales controlling and taxes, aligned with corporate objectives, harmonizing tools, and processes.
  • Oversee financial operations, including preparation and analysis of group and statutory financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and sales controlling automation.
  • Lead cash flow analysis and implement improvements, ensuring compliance with local and international tax and reporting regulations and serving as the primary point of contact for audits and financial authorities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or related field such as economics & post graduate degree in MBA Finance, accounting or economics.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including International, multicultural setting (handling Indian Compliance vs Corporate GAAP)
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Should be well versed in accounting packages such as Tally, Focus & SAP or any other related tools.
  • Experience in Indian labor laws and regulations of advantage
  • Expertise in MRP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 a plus)
  • Proven record in leading and developing staff
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
  • Ability to work collaboratively across different departments Including non-financial stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel

What are we looking for

We are looking for a skilled Finance Manager to help our company grow and improve in the areas of Finance. In this important role, you will report directly to the CEO of Verder Scientific India, with a functional reporting line to the CFO of Verder Scientific Group and contribute significantly to our overall strategy. Your extensive knowledge will help you enhance our processes and boost our market position. Our organization has a revenue of about 12 million Euro and has about 60 staff. You will lead a team of 4 employees who handle our Finance and Administration related topics.
