We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accountant to join our team! The Accountant is responsible for compiling financial records, preparing reports, completing tax returns, and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements. This role requires a thorough understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and an ability to work as an individual as well as part of a team.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial reporting documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP, relevant laws, and corporate guidelines.
  • Assist the General Manager and group management in meeting company goals & objectives by providing financial analysis and developing strategies.
  • Assist in developing the budgeting process, financial forecasting, and group reporting.
  • Perform general ledger entries and reconciliation
  • Assist in developing end of year financial reporting documents in accordance with international GAAP and corporate guidelines.
  • Local tax accounting and statutory compliance
  • Point of contact for internal and external auditors, tax advisors, banks, and tax authorities.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and US regulations.
  • Manage bank transactions.
  • Lead cashflow analysis and improvement directives.
  • Perform AP/AR as needed

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting
  • Energy and a can-do attitude
  • Expertise in MRP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 a plus)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel and Sage Intacct
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including International, multicultural setting (handling US vs. Corporate GAAP)
  • CPA preferred.
