We are seeking a Customer Service Representative that will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their needs are met with efficiency and professionalism. This role requires a keen understanding of the manufacturing processes, Microtrac’s services, and the ability to handle inquiries, complaints, and feedback effectively.

Doing what is fun

  • Accurately enter customer orders and required information into MRP system
  • Process order completion in MRP system
  • Create job tickets and maintain customer communication in CRM
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner.
  • Address customer inquiries, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives within requested time frames
  • Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
  • Communicate frequently with sales, production, logistics, engineering, and accounting to ensure data accuracy
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the company’s products and services.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate customer records, including interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.

Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Experience with order processing, ERP, and CRM systems
