We are searching for a Lab Technologist for our operations in the US. This position will be responsible for performing demonstrations, presentations, customer trainings, and troubleshooting as requested by the sales team and management. 

Doing what is fun

  • Manage the coordination, measurement, and reporting of incoming customer samples
  • Provide scientific, technical, and applications support during pre- and post-sales activities
  • Schedule and conduct demos, and customer trainings as required
  • Conduct experiments in the lab for special applications, market development, and projects for sales opportunities
  • Support the sales and applications team by using critical thinking to identify customer needs and to demonstrate the optimal product solutions to meet those needs
  • Promote customer satisfaction by providing product and application information, answering inquiries, investigating complaints, and taking appropriate action
  • Maintain and update CRM database
  • Manage and operate demonstration instruments at the Newtown sales office. Maintain an organized and clean work environment for office space and lab

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or a related scientific field.
  • Minimum 3 years laboratory experience is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Laboratory Technician or relevant position. Proficiency in using various types of laboratory equipment including but not limited to microscopes, sample dividers, analytical balances, glassware, external ultrasonication, ovens, pH and conductivity probes, hot plates, magnetic stirrers, etc. Specific experience with particle size analysis techniques like laser diffraction, dynamic light scattering, dispersion & stability.
  • Have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively through written reports
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams. Ability to learn multiple Microtrac software platforms. 
  • Ability to work independently and cooperatively. Excellent time management skills and task prioritization. Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Eligibility Requirement: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
